Sorry for the late post. Stupid internet connection was down all day yesterday.

So, before the great internet problem, I spent most of Saturday formatting THE SHAMAN’S CURSE for CreateSpace. I’m waiting now for the file review to complete so I can order the proofs.

Now, I’ve done books on CreateSpace before, but this time I’m trying to take the formatting up a notch. Simple stuff, really.

1. I justified the text on both left and right margins.
2. I inserted blank pages to force all chapters to begin on the right-hand page.

Something in that combination had an unexpected effect. Basically, what I saw in the file (on CreateSpace’s own template) wasn’t the same as what I saw in the online previewer. I had to make several changes and re-upload the file trying to make it come out the way I wanted it.

Wow. That was biting off more than I bargained for. It looks right in the previewer now. I’ll know if I was successful when I get the proof.

THE SHAMAN’S CURSE officially releases on July 7, 2014, but it’s available now for preorder on Smashwords. Coming soon to Barnes and Noble, Apple, and Kobo. The price for preorder and during the launch is $0.99. It’ll go up after that.
