Happy Birthday to Me

Really. I’m blogging on my actual birthday. No, I’m not going to tell you which one.

I happen to know that among my birthday gifts, I will be recieving two books on writing young adult fiction. (When you buy and wrap your own gifts, there aren’t too many surprises, but at least you know you’re getting what you really want.)

So, tomorrow, I get to start on one of those New Year’s resolutions–learn.

Happy Birthday, Meredith! Great b-day present.

Starting last year, I’m pretty much getting a writing conference every year for my b-day and Mother’s Day, which is nearby. We sure can pick em. 🙂

For me, for the present, books are more practical. They’re cheaper and I don’t have to go anywhere.

I’ll let the group know my review of the books as I read them.

Sounds like you know how to pick B-day presents. I could follow your example for Christmas.
